What am I reading now.
I saw this around the blogsphere and immediately put it on hold at the library. Unlike a lot of my library books that sit on my shelf for a week or two, I've started it right away as it's only a two week loan - no renewal for this one!
Blog recommendation this week.
This weeks blog is Random Ramblings of a Stay At Home Mum written by Lori. This is one of the first blogs I ever followed and I love it. When I first started reading, Lori lived what she called her purple life with her husband and two kidlets. Her posts were funny and a window into life with kids which often had me nodding with agreement - oh yeah, that happens in our house too! In January 2011 Lori's husband died and she continued to blog her way through the trauma of the event. For a while, quite understandably, the blog became darker, harder to read. But the honesty and plain incredible writing, plus a want to somehow support someone I have never met but have a great love and respect for kept me reading. Now, just over 12 months on, Lori continues to blog about her journey. Sometimes her posts have me in tears, sometimes in fits of laughter and often cheering for her as she continues to move forward. Really, I think I have a little on-line girl crush for Lori - long may she blog!

With my increased mobility this week I haven't read as much as I've started to do other things that don't require sitting on the couch! If you are interested, check out my other blog - Kylie's Stitch 'n Sew - for what else I've been doing. I also went and saw two movies - the ever popular Hunger Games and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. I'd highly recommend both! In the end, my only finish this week was
Murder in Devon - Maggi Andersen - I read this for an uncoming Blog Tour so keep an eye out for more information.
What's next?
Same answer as last week - I don't know! Taking it as it comes at the moment. Finishing a book and then seeing what I feel like.
So what are you reading this week? Leave me a link, I'd love to know!
